Oh, Paris!

I'M TOTALLY BAAAAAAACK ON BLOGGING!! But.. My camera is still not working so, yeah, lemme just share to you the outfit photos left unpublished.

God, I love Paris!! I never been there but I know someday I'll set my foot there, I promise you! Hahahaha!! I even once day-dreamed of saying "Yes, I will marry you!" to the one I love under the Eiffel Tower. Oh fantasy! I'm not inlove with Paris just because of the scenery there, the beautiful lights, the exquisite architectures, the romantic aura, the foods, but most because it is one of the top Fashion cities of the world. Fashion is one of the most ideal opportunities in Pairs, and because if its reputation Paris has some of the most influential fashion designers and companies located in the center of the city. I remember the movie, The Devil Wears Prada where Emily Charlton (Miranda's haughty senior assistant) tolerated Miranda's rudeness and insults so that she may accompany her to Paris for Fall Fashion Week.

TRAGEDY

If you have noticed.. It's already summer (&almost ending) but I still failed on updating my blog.. Please let me explain..

Last month, around second to the last week of April, when I got home from somewhere I can no longer remember, I found out that my laptop was unintentionally *broken* by my baby sister. So, I had to let it checked on Acer (&thank God it was still under the warranty). The technician mentioned "white screen" thingy is the problem of my laptop and they have to replace the LCD. The repair time will be minumum of 2 weeks and maximum of 2 months. It was not so much of a big deal for me because we have an extra netbook around the house that I can borrow.

The week after next, when I'm about to take outfit shots.. There's another tragedy happened.. My DSLR also have a problem. CAMERA ERROR keeps on flashing on the screen. I don't know what to do now since it is no longer under warranty.

I'm still persistent on updating my blog.. So, I have to go back to the basic - DIGITAL CAMERA!! I am on the hunting of my digital camera which I last used 2yrs ago.. But.. But.. I failed to do so. My camera is missing! I just don't know what to do now.

I decided today to make the most of what I have today. I'll be going to use my iPhone for taking outfit shots & updating this blog. Please bear with me about the not-so-good-looking pictures that'll be posting.

The Lion & The Lioness

This is what I wore a Sunday ago.. Because of the warm weather, I wanted to feel comfortable, fashionable (as always) and yet a little conservative for a Sunday service. The easy answer? Maxi dress! Anything maxi always makes me feel large (vertically) and reserved. It's an added bonus that this one is so breezy, chic and edgy. And I also went with simple fuss free accessory to give the spot light to my dress.

If you happened to be my follower in Instagram, you might saw my picture posts that I'm taking a summer workshop at School of Fashion and the Arts (SoFA) under Mr. Richard Papa's handling. I've been learning alot about mood boards, pattern-making and designing. For our next session, we will be sewing the dress we designed for ourselves. Yey! I can't wait!!

This is what I wore for our second session. I opt to wear something comfortable - so that I can move freely since our workshop requires some work - yet edgy at the same time which reflects my fashion style. I fell inlove with the geometric/tribal print on the dress. I just threw black & gold ensembles on the outfit just to make it simple yet classic which never get out of style.What I love about with this look is it's basic, yet modern, youthful yet sophisticated and striking yet wearable.

Sick of Leopard, Yet?

If you didn't noticed, I've been obsessed with animal prints - specifically leopard prints. I just can't get over them!! They're so classy and very edgy at the same time. And they're one of the pieces that never get out of style!! They set the attitude for the whole look. I opt to pair these new architectural wedge babies with my thrifted top + skater skirt outfit to add more character on the look.

COLORFUL LEOPARD

This is one of my Sunday no-brainer outfit. You may all think that this mini skirt is not just appropriate for Sunday service, but can you blame me? They're one of the hippiest skater skirts I have. Inspite of the summer breeze, I opt to wear white long sleeves to emphasize the skirt and also to compensate the shortness of my skirt. Hahaha! Remember the Forever21 denim polo I posted here? I also got this lovely skirt from an Instagram online shop - @cottononforever21resellers. I assure you! They offer authentic Forever21 and Cotton On apparels. Have I not mentioned that they also give cheap prices than in the malls'. What are you waiting for? Visit their Instagram account. :)

FREE SPIRIT

I feel like a little bohemian baby because of this outfit. Hahaha! Plain tank top over fitted skirt and a loose chambray polo created a comfortable preppy outfit. It's amazing how many different versions and styles you can come up with by simply piling on different styles of the polo/chambray+tank+skirt combo! It's the easiest way to dress up!
